Michaela Core Programme

Michaela Core is our bespoke cultural literacy programme. Every sixth former is given a basic understanding of the great events of history, the geography of the world they will inherit, the workings of British politics, and the central questions of philosophy.

Our pupils arrive at university already at home with the ideas, debates and references that more privileged students take for granted. That is the edge the Core gives them.

Michaela Core is delivered in our tutor time. We understand that to know about the world is a basic requirement for the top students. We make sure that students are conversant in the basics and we deliver it in an enjoyable way.
